Texas Muay Thai & Kickboxing Academy is Alvin’s #1 source for martial arts, and we are proud to serve our community by providing a fun safe family environment to learn martial arts! We specialize in traditional Muay Thai and Kickboxing. Our school focuses on 4 main pillars of martial arts, respect, confidence, discipline and self-defense. We offer classes for ages 6 and up great for fitness, recreation and competition training. TXMTBA is a great place for the everyday Joe who just wants a fun new workout, to the athlete with dreams of becoming a world champion!

History

We have been providing Alvin Muay Thai classes since 2020. In that time, we have built countless strong relationships and have helped kids reach their full potential. While many students have gone on to win National Championships and reach the pro ranks, that’s not our main goal. We are proud to have built a supportive, tight-knit community. This has been led by owner Jonathan Harris. Jonathan has over 25 years of Muay Thai experience. In that time he has competed professionally and has taken many students to compete around the U.S. and Thailand. Now, he prides himself on making martial arts lessons fun and productive for every student. This has included adding Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes to diversify our martial arts program.
